Red has lived on Merseyside all his life and joined his first band (A Child-Like Vagueness) at the tender age of fifteen. He was to gain a recording contract with Jet/CBS records in the late 80’s with the same line-up; however the name had to go! Although a new name was decided by the record company, Red prefers that to remain a secret.
More musical adventures were yet to come in the early 90’s, with another local band “ Garbo Talks” who achieved critical acclaim nationwide, and appeared on prime-time national television. Red eventually ended up owning his own professional recording studio before moving into education, an area he has worked in for the past three years.
Red is the main keyboard player and music technology expert in the band, advising on programming techniques when creating sounds and keeping everything sonically under control in the live environment.
Red is married with two children; Sam (8 years) & Becky (6 years) who are both keen Electro 80 fans... and can even play "Cars" on their own keyboards!
